Karl Thomas Partch, 81, passed peacefully, guided by our Lord and Savior on February 16, 2017 after a complicated illness in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Karl, a Veteran of Foreign Wars, served in the United States Army stationed predominately on the Russian and German border during the Korean War era. He was a member of Chapter 8919 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was awarded a lifetime membership for his coordination of charity work thereof. He was overtly benevolent toward orphanages on both sides of the Texas and Mexico border, providing many memorable Christmas celebrations for children without parents accompanied by his dutiful and dedicated wife and daughters. Karl never missed a Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon; watching every year at entire length with much empathy, compassion and tears for affected children throughout.
Karl is survived by his loving and dedicated wife Marilyn of 60 years, his enamoured daughters Karlene McHatton (late husband Bob), Rhonda (Joe) Partch-Hervol, Ellen Daniels and Karen (Jack Jr.) DePineuil. Additionally survived by his precious grandchildren, Nickolas Park, Kristen Boarman, Angelica Park, Jessica Jones, Brandi Depineuil, DeLanie DePineuil, and Aaren Jack DePineuil.
Karl also shared an abundance of love and pride for the next generation of great-grandchildren Nathan, Maddox, Liam, Lucian, Brena and Everleigh.
Karl is also survived by one brother, David (Marilyn) Partch, brother-in-law Jim Squyres and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home 4631 Hondo Pass at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome for visitation one hour prior to memorial services.
