Kaitlyn Raquel Lujan Llanez, age 17, of Fort Campbell, Ky passed away July 9, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her maternal Grandfather, Daniel R. Lujan from Marfa, Tx, on November 5, 1991.
She is survived by her parents, Sergeant Major Caesar Llanez and Diana Lujan Llanez, brother & best friend, Daniel Llanez, maternal Grandmother, Maria L. Lujan of Marfa, TX and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Kaitlyn was a student in the Health Professions Academy at Socorro High School. She is part of Class 2023 and will receive her Posthumous High School Diploma and her pin for her Certified Medical Assistant. She dedicated her time as a Student Sports Athletic Trainer for Copperas Cove High School, Copper Cove, Tx and Socorro High School, Socorro, Tx.
Kaitlyn was a military child and was able to touch the lives of so many around the world. Her Faith, Bravery, Resiliency, and Love of others touched the lives of all that knew her. Keep her memory alive by sharing her life mantra, "Live life on purpose, with a purpose."
Pallbearers are Daniel Llanez, Moises Macias, Kristine Lujan, Danice Lujan, Katherine Lujan, Sandra Cantú, Eddie Morales, and Shane Lawry.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. William W. Sperbeck, Dr. Mustafa Moazam, Dr. Marc Orlando, Dr. Jorge Serna, Dr. Eduardo Rosas Blum, Pediatric & Surgical Teams and nursing staff at El Paso’s Children Hospital.
Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Mark Catholic Church, 11700 Pebble Hills. Interment to follow at 1:30 PM, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
