body On Monday, January 9, 2012 our wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend past away. Juventino Rosas, Jr., 54, was a long time resident of El Paso. He was born on August 4, 1957 in El Paso, TX. He graduated from Irvin High School and then joined the US Navy where served his duty in San Diego for 6 years as a Hospital Corpsman. Then he went to the University of Texas at El Paso where he received his Masters in Psychology. Juventino was a very accompished man who had many hobbies and interests which include being a Golden Gloves Boxer at San Juan Boxing Club, an instructor at El Paso Community College, he had many a fun time doing karaoke, and he spent his life having fun leaving so many memories that everyone who knew him will cherish always. He is survived by his high school sweet heart of 36 years, Rosie Rosas; three sons, Juvy Lee Rosas, Luis Armando Rosas (wife Erica), and Danny Rosas; daughter, Linda Victoria Rosas (husband Michael Avila); grandchildren, Michael Avila II, Angel Rosas, Christian Rosas, Xavier Avila, Malachi Rosas, Luis Rosas, Jr., Patrick Avila, Mia Rose Avila, Joshua Lee Rosas, and Benjamin Rosas. He will be missed by us all. Our memory of him will always be of how caring, strong, huggable, and how funny he was. He enjoyed watching movies and spending quality time with his grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 5-9 pm Monday, January 16, 2012 with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Funeral Mass: 10 am, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment will follow with Military Honors at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Juvy Lee Rosas, Luis Armando Rosas, Alejandro Daniel Rosas, Michael Avila, Angel Rosas, Christian Rosas, Louie Morales, and Xavier Avila. Honorary Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
