It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Julio César Cordero, a devoted father of four and a distinguished law enforcement officer. Julio César Cordero dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community, embodying unwavering integrity and courage. His commitment to law enforcement earned him accolades and the respect of his colleagues and the public alike.
Beyond his professional achievements, Julio César Cordero was a loving and supportive father. His greatest joy came from his family. His legacy will live on through the values he instilled in his children and the love he so generously shared.
Julio César Cordero is survived by his children, Judith, Dominique, Trinity, Ethan and his siblings, Alma (Bruce), Rosa, Marco (Shirin), Pedro (Carrie), Dina (Ricardo), Isaac (Melissa). He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will be remembered for his remarkable dedication to his work and family.
He is preceded in death by his sister Judy, his father Pedro Jose and his mother María de Lourdes.
Visitation will be held, Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home East, 750 N. Carolina, El Paso, TX. Procession will begin at Sunset Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2024, at 9:20 AM and come to an end at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Funeral Mass to follow. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM. Friday, September 13, 2024, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa, El Paso, TX.
