Julie Delia Perea

Our beloved Julie was born June 13, 1961 weighing 6:13 at 6:13 in El Paso, TX. She was preceded in death by grandparents and loving mother Julieta Chavez. She is survived by husband Tony and son Joseph, sisters Diana (Ignacio), Ana (Hector) and brother Gabriel, nephew Ignacio and several family members and friends. Julie graduated from Eastwood High school and received her B.A from the University of Phoenix. She was a third grade teacher at Omar Bradley, where she was loved by her students and co-workers. Julie loved living on her farm in Vado, N.M. with Tony and her beloved dog Canela. She was affectionately called “Jujie” by her grandparents, aunts and uncles. Julie was stunningly beautiful inside and out. She had a way about her that made her made you feel so special. She had a heart of gold, always smiling and a great sense of humor. She was talented in every endeavor she undertook. She was simply an amazing woman. She loved life and will forever be in our hearts. We will forever miss her. Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 pm, Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 20, 2010 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Interment to follow at Memorial Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
