Julia Suárez

Julia Corcino Suárez joined her beloved husband of 58 years, Candido, and their daughter, Maria, in our Lord’s embrace on August 9, 2008, in El Paso, TX. She was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico on October 24, 1924. She was a proud employee of the Popular, retiring after over 20 years of service. She will always be lovingly remembered for her laughter, sense of fun, and strong faith in God. Julia leaves behind siblings Maria Luisa, Betsy, Julio and Miguel; children Lisbeth Suárez-Call; Candido; Rick and his wife, Cerena; and Julie; grandchildren John and wife, Kathleen, Myra and husband, Adam, Timothy, Jennifer, Lance and wife, Jennifer, Thomas, Trey, Julian, Christopher, Chelsea, Clifton, Matthew, and Kayla; great grandchildren Christene, Nathaniel, Kaitlyn, Zachary and Natalie. The family thanks Desert Springs Alzheimer's Special Care Center for their loving care. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 5 - 9 p.m. with Rosary/Vigil at 7 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home NE. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment will immediately follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to your local Alzheimer's Association or sponsoring/participation in the Memory Walk. Service entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast.
