Julia Grajeda

Julia Grajeda, age 82, passed away November 28, 2009. Julia will be remembered as being an exceptional and selfless person, and a wonderful mother grandmother and great grandmother. “A light from our household is gone, a voice we love is stilled. A place is vacant in our hearts that never can be filled”. Mrs. Grajeda was preceded in death by her brothers Gilbert Cruz, Carlos Cruz and Fidencio Favila, daughter Mary Lou Kondow and by her grandson Alex Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband Raymundo Grajeda; sons Raymundo Grajeda, Jr.(Veronica) and Gilbert Grajeda; daughters Isabel Eilertson (Dennis), Julie Grajeda (Hugo), Gloria Prado, Leticia Navarrete (Javier); brother Matt Cruz; sisters Magdalena Thiems and Yolanda De Vega; 25 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm, Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at Sunset Funeral Home East with a Prayer Service beginning at 7 pm. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at 11 am also at Sunset Funeral Home East. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery. “Don’t grieve for me, for now I am free; I’m following the path God laid for me”. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
