Juanita Willbanks Burns, loving, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and dear friend passed away July 31, 2007 at the age of 71. Juanita was known for her beautiful smile and warm and generous spirit. She was born June 22, 1936 in the “Heart of Texas”, Brady, McCulloch County to the late, Wallace Willbanks and Mabel Behrens. She had been a resident of El Paso since 1956 and was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. She enjoyed music, volunteer work at church and school, ballet, interior design, and traveling with her granddaughter. She was married to Warren T. Burns on August 23, 1953 and will have been married 53 years this August. Survivors include her husband, Warren T. Burns; her children: Cynthia B. and husband, Armando Gallego, Warren T. Jr. (Towney) and wife, Edwina H. Burns; her granddaughter, Catherine Elizabeth Archer; her sister, Evelyn and her husband, Robert Leisure; and her brother, Wallace E. and his wife, Bobbie Willbanks. The Burns Family will receive family and friends for visitation on August 2, 2007 from 5-8 pm at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast. Funeral Service will be held August 3, 2007 at 2 pm at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 1810 Elm Street; El Paso, Texas to be officiated by the Reverend Father Louis Cockram-Ashley. Concluding interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery, Brady, Texas on August 6, 2007. Memorials may be made on behalf of Mrs. Burns to St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast.
