EL PASO - Jenny (Rodriguez) St. Cyr, 77 passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025
Early life
Jenny was born in Kenedy Texas, September 27, 1948. Graduated from Kenedy high school and then left to proudly serve her country in the United States Army. Later in Fort Sil Oklahoma where she would meet the love of her life Roger St. Cyr. Married on the military base Feb 06 1971!
Jenny worked for the Ysleta school district for over 30 years and loved seeing the children daily. Once retired, she pursued her love of gardening and poured her heart into this passion. Watching the sunrise and watering her prize flow was just a tiny part of her nurturing skills. Jenny’s nurturing skills were also used with her grandchildren, ensuring her grandchildren were cared for and loved. Her silent moments were filled with the different worlds and stories of the many books she would go out and find. Her love for reading didn’t end at her door. However, she shared the passion with her granddaughter Jessie. Jenny has always loved to spend all the time in the day with the people she loves the most. Whether that be with having the annual Christmas cookie baking or watching her shocking and emotional rollercoaster of the soap opera Days of Our Lives, she always made sure you had food in your stomach and a warm bed to sleep in. Jenny never wanted anyone to feel left out, no matter who they were. Her laugh and rhythmic foot-tapping to her favorite songs would dance around the room and lift everyone’s spirit. She was the greatest, strongest, most thoughtful, most caring mom, daughter, wife, sister, and grandmother the world could ask for. No matter where her family is or what happens, she will always be by their side, watching and protecting them through their biggest battles and accomplishments.
