Juanita R. Hernandez

Juanita R. Hernandez, age 86, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. She was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and will be greatly missed. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; Jose Aurelio Rivera and Dolores Valenzuela, her husband; Manuel S. Hernandez, her siblings; Elisa Dominguez, Maria Luisa Rivera de Aguilar, Maria Natividad Dominguez, Dolores Rivera, Jesusita Rivera De Espino, Miguel Rivera, and Juan Rivera. She is survived by her children; Sylvia Collins, Manuel David Hernandez (Sofia), Rebecca Saldivar (Ruben), Olga Lydia Hernandez, Bertha Anita Hernandez, and Margarita Hernandez, her sister; Eva Rodriguez, her grandchildren; Aisha Bates, Derek Hernandez, Heather Hernandez, Vanessa Engel, Matthew Sanchez, Jazzmin Tafoya, Sebastian Rios, and Brandon Rios, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.

Pallbearers include; Manuel David Hernandez, Sebastian Rios, Brandon Rios, Jesus Francisco Dominguez and A.J. Engle.

A Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, October 06, 2023 with a Celebration of Life to commence at 11:00 am at Sunset Funeral Homes-West. A Graveside Service will follow at 12:30 pm at Anthony Cemetery; N. 4^th St. & Acosta Rd., Anthony, New Mexico 88021.
