Juanita Oaxaca Paez, age 84, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 18, 2023. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; and will be greatly missed. Juanita is preceded in death by her dearest parents; Victor Paez and Maria Lopez; her loving husband; Francisco Oaxaca; and her brother; Enrique Paez. She is survived by her dearest children; Javier Oaxaca, Norma Burns (Scott), Sylvia Yvonne Stacy, Lorena Schami (Albert), Victor Oaxaca (Gina) and Martin Oaxaca (Isabell); her siblings; Natalia Cocio; Carmen Paez, Ana Maria Muela, Ricardo Paez and Armando Pardon; her grandchildren; Janelle Hulford, Cody Burns, Kevin Burns, Kelsey Franca, Johnny Stacy, Elizabeth Oliver, Lilly Bircher, Roger Schami, Joseph Oaxaca, Dominique Oaxaca and Gabriel Oaxaca, Josh Gomez, Angelene Story and Diego Oaxaca; and her 6 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 20, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- West with a Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:00 am on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 5750 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932. An Inurnment will follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr.
