Juanita Kaplan

Juanita Kaplan of El Paso, TX, beloved wife and mother, passed into paradise on July 4, 2009 at the age of 55. She was the purest, most selfless of souls and deeply touched the lives of everyone around her. Her final days were spent surrounded by loving family and friends, and she will be sorely missed. In life, her cheerful smile and gracious heart filled every room with a radiant light that transformed sorrow and sadness into lasting joy, happiness and peace. Although she no longer walks among us, her glowing, radiant presence survives and will forever warm our hearts. Juanita is survived by her husband, Harry Kaplan; by her beloved children, Carlos Alberto Manriquez and Stacy Amanda Arnoudts; by her mother, Reyes Manriquez; by her sisters, Beatriz Manriquez, Lourdes Manriquez, Angela Manriquez-Gutierrez, Sofia Manriquez, Esther Manriquez-Rosas, and Ana Manriquez-Trujillo; by her brothers, Jose Luis Manriquez, Raul Manriquez, and Octavio Manriquez. Visitation and Vigil services will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Funeral Home-West, 480 N. Resler Dr. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 10, 2009 at 12:15 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa St., followed by a reception in the Mountaindale apartment office reception room at 330 Waymore Dr. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
