Juanita Vasquez Garcia, 86, of El Paso, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024, after a sudden decline of her health.
Born on March 14, 1937, to Jesusita and Miguel Vasquez, Juanita grew up in El Paso alongside her many siblings. The second oldest of eight children, Juana, as her siblings knew her, was like a mother figure to them. She spent some of her best childhood memories picking cotton in the fields alongside her siblings and her father.
Juanita loved to cook and made the most delicious meals for her family and friends. She always opened her home to her loved ones with open arms. There was never a day where she wasn’t listening to music and dancing.
Juanita is lovingly remembered by her children, Susana and Robert; siblings, Alicia, Elena, and George; grandchildren, Carlos Rene, Jessica and Matthew, great grandchildren and a community of friends. She rejoins her late husband Carlos, and siblings, Dolores, Esther, Armando and Miguel in eternal peace.
