Juanita Edgar

August 13, 1942 — August 24, 2023

El Paso

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Juanita Edgar. She was born in Beaumont, Texas, and entered the Lord's hands on August 24, 2023, at the age of 81. She passed away peacefully and comfortably at home on her oldest son's birthday (James). She was a beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Fry and Stella Housley, husband, Jack Edgar, and her sons, James Edgar, Dewayne Edgar, Darren Edgar, and many others she has loved. She is survived by her son, Randall Edgar (Michelle); sister, Shirley Spurlock; brothers-in-law, George Edgar (Sharon) and Bob Walker; sister-in-law, Linda Fry; her granddaughters, Morgan Edgar (Noah) and Felicia Edgar; and beloved friend, Gloria Padilla. Many extended family and friends also survive her to cherish and honor her memory.

Everyone who knew and met Juanita fell in love with her caring heart, sweet charm, and giving attitude. Juanita dedicated her life to the Lord by attending church, praying, and watching Sunday church on the television. One of her passions was the beautiful Christian music during worship. Juanita attended Warren High School as an honor student and loved to cheerlead. During her days in high school, she met her loving husband of 62 years, Jack Edgar. Soon after marriage, they relocated to El Paso, Texas, where they settled for the remaining time of their lives and raised their four boys. She admired her sons dearly. Family meant everything to Juanita as she grew up loving all her siblings.

Shortly after arriving in El Paso, Jack and Juanita had a vision and opened a custom cabinetry business. They were the masters of Supreme Custom Cabinets. As a team, Jack and Juanita worked side by side for over forty years to establish the highest quality, handcrafted, residential, and commercial cabinetry that El Paso had to offer. They were known for their welcoming personality, gorgeous products, fantastic service, and all the friendships they established over the years. In 2020, they closed Supreme Custom Cabinets permanently so they could retire together.

Gracious Juanita, the sweetest angel ever, has joined many of her family members in Heaven. Her family and wonderful friends will deeply miss her. A private service will be held to celebrate and honor the life of Juanita Edgar.
