Juanette C. Morrison

Juanette Claire Nalani Morrison, February 7, 1945 – January 26, 2023, Juanette C.N. Morrison, 77, passed away on January 26, 2023, in El Paso, TX. Born in Honolulu, HI, Juanette had a successful 30-year career with the Federal Government, followed by 10 years working as a contractor for various government agencies, and closed out her working years as an assistant manager at Walmart in El Paso.  She was an accomplished cook and baker and took her special “aloha spirit” to an entrepreneurial endeavor running the snack bar for several years at The Hills of Cove Golf Course in Copperas Cove, TX.  She enjoyed having many city officials and employees as customers, often catering parties, or creating gift baskets.  Her generous spirit and love of food and crafts was enjoyed by her ‘ohana (family) and many friends and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents Abraham and Peggy Heen, and her sister Wendy Heen Bazemore. She is survived by her beloved son, Kai Robertson of Austin, TX along with her devoted husband of 33 years, George Morrison of El Paso, TX, her nieces Paige Pualani Gabel and Meredith Maile Santos, 4 grandnieces and nephews, and 2 great grandnephews.  Services will be held at 9:30am October 13, 2023,  at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific in Honolulu, HI.
