Juana G. Luevano, age 96, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. She was a wonderful mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed. Juana is preceded in death by her husband; Manuel Luevano, her parents; Agustin Godinez and Petra Aguirre, and her grandchild; Alexis Luevano. She is survived by her children; Manuel G. Luevano Jr. (Belinda), Juanita L. Barker (Javier), and Angel G. Luevano (Argentina), her sisters; Mary J. Hinojosa (Ciro), and Peggy Palacios, her grandchildren; Vivian Pedroza (Mike), Rosie Barker, Callender (Dale), Joel Luevano (Patty), Daniel Luevano (Nancy), Javier R. Barker, Veronica Luevano, Yvette Gutierrez (Ruben), Gabriel Luevano (Dana), and Marisol Luevano (Philippe), numerous great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended family and friends to cherish and honor her memory.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 with a Rosary to commence at 7:00pm, at Sunset Funeral Home-West. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at St. Jude Catholic Church; 4006 Hidden Way. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30am at Mt. Carmel Cemetery; 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907.
