Juan A. Rolon

Juan Alfonso Rolón, U.S. Army Veteran, born on January 26, 1935, in Ponce, Puerto Rico was the son of the late Juan Rolón Cruz and Virginia Perez Rolón. Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and beloved friend was called home with our Lord God and departed this earthly life on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the age of 87. He passed away peacefully, at home, in his sleep with the love of his life by his side. He leaves behind a loving legacy that we all will honor and keep deep in our hearts.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Norma B. Rolón and his four children: Juan Alfonso Rolón, Jr., Ivan Ricardo Rolón (Carmen Rolón), Norma Zoe Castillo (Julio Castillo), and Paul Rolón (Luz Marina Marquez-Rolón). His eight grandchildren: Jayson Erik Rolón, Athena Christine Rolón, Ricky Seiken Rolón, Jovanna Angelica Castillo, Israel Esteban Castillo, Belanna Francesca Castillo, Paul Anthony Rolón, and Joshua Matthew Rolón. One great grandchild: Lillyann Francis Rolón and his sister: Milagros Vega (Rigoberto Vega). He was a lifelong member of the Hispana Bautista Church where he worshiped and played his saxophone devotedly for many years. During his service to our country, he was also a proud member of the 6^th Armored Division Army Band. 

We would love for you to join us as we honor and celebrate his life.  Visitation will be at 10:00am with a Funeral Service at 11:30am on Thursday January 05, 2023, at Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast,  4631 Hondo Pass Drive.  Committal Service to follow at 1:00 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. The Rolón/Castillo family thank everyone for your thoughts, prayers, support, and love during this difficult time. We are thankful that you were a part of his life and loved him just as we did. May he forever Rest in Peace and may God Bless us all.
