Josephine “Josie” Ellen Razloznik, 84, peacefully passed away on March 2, 2017 surrounded by her 3 beloved children.
Josie was born in Banbury, England on September 10, 1932. She met the love of her life, Thomas D. Razloznik, while he was serving for the United States Army in England. The 2 married in 1952 and started their life together in England where they had their first 2 children. In 1955, they moved to the United States and had their final daughter. Once they settled in El Paso,TX, Josie joined the British Wives Club and met some of her closest friends to date. She was also currently a member of the Desert Royals Club. Josie was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was best known as “Nana”. She had an unconditional love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anyone who knew her, knew how much she adored being their Nana and that was her greatest accomplishment. She will be missed greatly by all that knew and loved her.
Josie was preceded in death by her parents; Joseph and Winifred Dumbleton, her adored husband, Thomas D. Razloznik, and her brother-in-laws Robert I. Razloznik and Richard Roderick. She leaves behind a loving sister, Mavis Roderick, her 3 children; Tommy Razloznik and wife Diana, Rosemarie Townsend and partner Bobby Calanche, and Linda DiGennaro and husband Alan. Her 10 grandchildren and spouses; Jaclyn (Brad), Cara (Britt), Mason (Rachel), Nicole (Rene), Marci (Joseph), Kyle, Ryan (Shellie), Brian (Hayley), Christie, and Sean. Her 4 great-grandchildren; Hudson, Hanna Cate, Olivia, and Aiden and was anxiously awaiting the arrival of baby Kit.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
