Joseph T. Reydom (Jose Adan Reyes)

May 30, 1958 — November 11, 2009

Joseph T. Reydom, B.N.A. Jose ‘Adan’ Reyes, 51, born May 30, 1958 went home to be with Our Lord on November 11, 2009. Adan was born in Huntsville, AL. He grew up in El Paso, Tx. He attended Andress H.S. where he was a First Chair member of the Fighting Eagle Band. He scholastically excelled and graduated early in 1975. He began his college career at Loyola University before Graduating from UTEP. During his college career and thereafter, he worked many years with Juvenile Detention Centers for troubled teens before becoming a federal probation officer. His career and love for helping troubled teens led him to pursue the adoption of four troubled but wonderful boys. He passionately spent the last 12 years of his life teaching and leading them down the path to successful lives. At the time of his passing, one son has already graduated H.S. with two more to follow in the next two years while the youngest will graduate in four years. He was also a favored Foster Parent Provider of Child Protective Services. Adan was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle and friend and he was representative of the very best: love, strength, courage, sacrifice, dignity, faith and a strong commitment to his family and friends. He was always willing to help anyway he could. Adan is preceded in death by his father Eudelio “Lalo” Reyes and Brother Gilbert H. Reyes (Manito). He is survived by his loving sons Jesse Reydom, John Reydom, Angel Reydom and Gabriel Reydom, Mother Nora H. Reyes, Sister Fay Davis, Brothers Gabriel and Michael Reyes. Adan is also leaving behind numerous loving nieces and nephews along with countless friends. He was our Guardian Angel and he will be greatly missed. We love you Adan!
