Joseph Malcom Campbell

Joseph Malcom Campbell, 77, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 9, 2022.  He was a wonderful father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend who will be greatly missed.

He was born May 16, 1945 in Youngstown, OH.   Joseph is preceded in death by his parents; Malcolm Joseph Campbell and Catherine Toohey Campbell, and his brother; Danny Campbell. 

Joe is survived by his beloved children; Jennifer Berryhill and Brian Campbell and his wife Heather Campbell, his sister; Joanne Campbell Savage, as well as his grandchildren; Taitum Berryhill, Alex Berryhill, and Aiden Campbell. He is also survived by many friends and family who are left to cherish and honor his memory.

Joseph was raised in the Catholic faith where he proudly served as an altar boy.  He attended St Anna in Brier Hill and Ursuline High School in Youngstown, OH. 

Joe went on to graduate from Pittsburg University with a degree in Respiratory Therapy.  After graduation he was drafted into the army where he trained as a medic for Helicopter Rescue in Vietnam.  His service experience and background led him through a successful career in the medical industry where he excelled as Director of Respiratory Therapy at Providence Memorial Hospital, and as Assistant Administrator of Ancillary Services at Sierra Providence Health Network.    From there he became Administrator at multiple sleep centers in El Paso, TX.

He had many successes that extended beyond the medical industry to include admirable achievements in his passion as a coach and an athlete.  His personal interests included skiing, rafting, hunting and fishing, racquetball, horseshoes, history, reading, and dancing to name a few.   

In his later years he found enjoyment as a volunteer with the War Eagles Air Museum where he was surrounded with his passion for history and aircraft. 

A Celebration of Life will be held with family and close friends on Saturday, September 24^th, at the War Eagles Air Museum in Santa Teresa, NM.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing to express condolences are encouraged to make a donation to the museum in the name of Joseph Malcom Campbell.
