Josefina Z. Carmona, 86, was born March 3, 1924 in Jimenez, Chihuahua. Formerly from Smeltertown where everyone knew her as Chepa or Chepita. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Anastacio Carmona, daughter, Josefina C. Wymetalek, sister, Socorro S. Anaya, and brother, Alejandro T. Sagarnaga. She is survived by son, Manuel Carmona (Ma. Luisa), daughters, Epifania C. Garrett (William), Romana C. Bailey, and Mary C. Carrillo (Genaro), thirteen grandchildren, sixteen, great grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchildren.Our sincere gratitude to our ENTIRE family including Lola and Maelo, Nellie Carrillo, Delma Cuddy, Esther and Jorge for always being with us. We love you.To the ENTIRE staff of Hospice of El Paso, you came and will remain in our hearts forever. Pallbearers will be Carlos, Gabriel, Joshua Genaro and Jacob Burrola, Marcus, and Don, Jr. Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers are William Garrett, John Wymetalek, Gregorio, Jr., Martin, and Ismael Anaya. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass with a Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am, Monday, August 23, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 9025 Diana Dr. Interment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley Cemetery.
