Jose E. Vidal

Jose Esteban Vidal, 89 sadly passed away on Friday Jan 29, 2021. He was born on December 26, 1931 in Mesquite, NM. Jose was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from civil service and the National Guard. He was a active member of the V.F.W post 8782 and the American Legion in Horizon, TX. Jose enjoyed playing pool and golfing in his spare time. Jose is preceded in death by his parents Luz Garibay and Manuel Vidal, Son Jose R. Vidal, Daughter Margarita Vidal and Great-grandson Isaiah S. Cardiel. Jose is survived by his wife of 66 years Gloria G. Vidal, Daughter Olga J. Vidal, Siblings Eva Jacques, Lorenza Paramo and Manuel Vidal, Grandchildren Ruby A. Cardiel, Gabriel Figueroa, Erica N. Baca and Eric M. Root and 10 Great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM with a Rosary at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes-East, 750 N. Carolina.
