Jose Luis Varela

Jose Luis Varela, 76, entered into eternal rest on August 30, 2024 in El Paso, TX. Jose Luis is preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Iduvina Varela. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rufina Varela; sons, Luis Varela and Joe Varela. Daughters, Maria Varela Rodarte and Nancy Varela Medina. Siblings, Vicente Varela, Rogelio Varela, Ernesto Varela, Arturo Varela, Thelma Portillo, Ana Luna and Esther Guerra. Also leaving behind 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild to honor and cherish his memory. Jose Luis was very loved and will always be missed. 

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service  starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, September 9, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas. A Graveside will follow at 1:00 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79907. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home- Amercias.
