Jose "Pepe" Solis

Jose “Pepe” Solis, December 6, 1970 - December 23, 2012. Parents Enrique and Berta R. Solis, brothers and spouses, Daniel and Agnes Solis, Eduardo and Annamarie Solis, Enrique and Maria Solis and Alfredo Solis. Sisters and spouses, Marta and Nayo Gallegos, Yolanda Solis and Francisco Vargas, Bertha and Samuel Jimenez and Beatriz Solis. Five nieces and twelve nephews as well as eight grandnieces and eleven grand nephews. Pallbearers: nephews: Frank Vargas, Eric Solis, Diego Solis, Robert Rojas, Ray Solis, Kyle Solis. Honorary pallbearers: Larry Solis and Steven Vargas. Our beloved Pepe, loved by all who knew him for his BIG HEART, sense of humor, love of wrestling, football and sense of fairness. Pepe was often referred to as the “kids lawyer” because he always defended his nieces and nephews. We will all miss him saying, “con café”. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm with a vigil at 7 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-East, at 750 N. Carolina Dr. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Monday, December 31, 2012 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 4006 Hidden Way. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
