Jose C. Rodarte

Jose C. Rodarte, age 93, resident of El Paso, passed away June 12, 2018. He was born May 31, 1925 in Delta, Colorado to Inez and Felipe Rodarte. Jose was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julia M. Rodarte. He is survived by his two daughters Esperanza Olmos (Antonio) and Rosa Maria Rodarte. Also survived by his two sons Antonio Rodarte and Jose Rodarte Jr. (Emilia). Grandchildren include Juan De Dios Jr. and Jose Antonio Sanchez (Rosa), Nicholas and Sarah Rodarte (Antonio), Miguel Angel and Rocio Rodarte (Jose Jr.). Jose is also survived by two siblings, his brother Jesus Rodarte and his sister Guadalupe Rodarte. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m., Thursday, June 14th at Sunset Funeral Home, 750 N. Carolina with the Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, June 15th at Santo Niño de Atocha Catholic Church, 210 S. Clark. Committal Service will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Inurnment will be held on Friday, June 22 at 9:30 a.m. at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
