Jose Ricardo Nicolas Sanchez

Joseph R. N. Sanchez (Papa Joe) was called to our Lord June the 9, 2007. Joe was born in October of 1954 and was a long time El Paso resident. He was a loving son, brother, and friend to all. We were truly blessed to have had him in our lives. He graduated from Irvin High School in 1973. He worked diligently for the Lord everyday of his life and he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed by Wal-Mart for 17 years and was an active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. He is survived by: his father, Andres R. Sanchez; brothers: Andy Sanchez Jr. and Tony Sanchez; sisters: Carla Hill, Linda Mellinger, and Josie Martinez; and 7 nephews and 5 nieces of whom he could not have been prouder and loved as if they were his own. Be at peace my brother we will see you again in God’s Kingdom. Visitation will be from 5-9 PM Wednesday June 13, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM, Thursday June 14, 2007 at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
