In loving Memory of Jose Arturo Hernandez May 16, 1946-March 4, 2011 A beloved husband, father, and grandfather was welcomed into God’s loving arms on Friday morning. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Olga Hernandez and the families of his four grown children: daughter Eva Christina Hernandez, daughter Sofia and husband Cesar and grandchildren Anissa, Arianna, Addison and Mason, daughter Margarita and husband Victor and grandson Evan, son Luis and wife Gina and grandson Caleb. Also sons Joe and Vicente and daughters Alice and Melissa and their families. His sisters are Elena, Annie, Alicia, Elvira, and Angelina. His brother is Vicente and brother-in-law Evisario. Jose, a devoted and loving family man enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his grandchildren, traveling with his wife, tending to his garden and writing his poetry. He will be immensely missed and remembered forever in our hearts. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home-West with Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, March 7, 2011 at San Francisco de Assis Catholic Church. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
