Jose Ernesto Güereña

Jose Ernesto “Che-Che” Güereña, 83, passed away on Saturday October 22, 2016. Jose Ernesto was born in Tijuana, Baja California on May 3, 1933. Jose would later marry the love of his life, Cecilia. Jose Ernesto loved spending time with his family and working on his 1928 model “ A” Ford and taking his grandchildren for a ride in the “carcanchita”. Jose Ernesto was a beloved husband, father, and Tata. He was a great example of leadership, strength, and courage to his family and friends. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and big heart. Jose Ernesto was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Cristina Güereña, his brothers, Manuel, Francisco, Jesus and Estela, his sons Luis and Phillip. He leaves behind his wife of 56 years Cecilia D. Güereña, sons Francisco Carlos and wife Dianne, Roberto, Jose Ernesto, Fernando and daughters Cecilia and husband Tony, Olga, and Cristina. Also his beloved grandchildren, Gabriella, Cristina and Thomas. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will be said at 1:00pm on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Committal Service will be at 2:30pm at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home Northeast.
