Jose Angel Garcia

Jose (Joe) Angel Garcia was called to Heaven on Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Joe was a U.S. Army Veteran. Joe found his home in a belief in a GOD that is merciful and loving. He loved his family and adored his mother. He will always be remembered as a witty, caring, sensitive, and loving brother and son. Joe was born on March 22, 1956 in Fabens, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Luisa Garcia; sisters, Gloria Macias and Paula Garcia; and brothers, Rey and Antonio. Joe is survived by his daughter, Anela Garcia-Caracol; grandson Kaulana of Hawaii; his father Lorenzo Garcia; his brothers: Luis, Rolando, Lorenzo Jr., Carlos; and sisters: Maria, Gina, Alicia, Graciela and Yvonne. Joe’s family would like to express their deep appreciation to his friend Liliana Keenan, the Work Opportunity Center, and the various Refuge Centers in El Paso who opened their home to Joe at his time of need. Graveside Services will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 9:00am. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes-Americas.
