Jose Hector Escalera

Jose Hector Escalera, 65, passed away on March 22, 2013. As an Army Veteran he served in the Operation Desert Storm. He is preceded in death by his mother, Hortencia Escalera and is survived by his wife, Armida Escalera; father, Manuel S. Romero; brother, Manuel Silva; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 4-9 pm, Sunday, March 24, 2013 with a Vigil at 7 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Monday, March 25, 2013 at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery with military honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
