Jorge Armando Andujo

Jorge Armando Andujo, 60, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from cancer. Jorge was born in El Paso, Texas on July 29, 1960. He attended Riverside High School and then left to serve his country proudly in the United States Army for 15 years. Jorge would later marry the love of his life in 1991, Darlene. Jorge worked for the El Paso Sheriff’s Department for 27 years and retired July of 2020. He loved to travel and cook. He had a heart of gold for everyone. Jorge is preceded in death by his mom Magdalena Monarres. He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Darlene Andujo and daughter Monica McDonald. Survived by his brother, Humberto Monarres and sister Beatriz Betancourt and their extended family. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Vigil/Rosary at 6:00 PM, Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 AM, Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa. Committal Service will follow at 11:00 AM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
