Johnny Talavera Flores

Johnny Talavera Flores, 67, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2017. Johnny was born in Yigo, Guam on September 20, 1949. He served proudly in the United States Army. Johnny married the love of his life in 1974, Blanca Flores. He worked for Ft. Bliss in Civil Service and EPISD/Ysleta Bus Transportation. He retired from Ysleta ISD Bus Transportation Department. The one thing he loved to do was BBQ for his family and friends “Chamorro Style.” Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Joaquin G. Flores and Consuelo T. Flores. He leaves behind his wife Blanca, sons: Michael, Patrick, and Jason and daughters; Yvonne, Cynthia and Sally; son-in-law William and Richard; daughter-in-law Joann and Melinda; grandchildren, Celine, Amber, William, Alicia, Athena, April, Thomas, Samantha, Leo, Jonas and Roman; great-grandchild Aubrey. Visitation will be from 5:00pm-9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Homes Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 8:15am on Monday, April 3, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Homes Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 9:00am at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
