Johnny Clinton Dollar

Johnny Clinton Dollar, 63, passed away December 18, 2008 in El Paso, Texas. He was born in West Jefferson, North Carolina, January 27, 1945 to Clint Osborne Dollar and Virginia Lucille Carson. After serving 4 years in the United States Navy as a photographer, he returned to El Paso, where he became a local radio personality for KHEY. After 12 years in radio, he had the opportunity to pursue his passion for photography and opened Johnny Dollar Photography, where he was able to share in the joyful celebrations and lives of thousands of people in this community, for 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carol Dollar, children: Debbie Speights and Donna Dollar, grandchildren: Allison Nicole Speights and Alexander Kirt-Dollar Speights, and brothers: Terry and Perry Dollar. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Monday, December 22, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 pm, Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5510 Hondo Pass.
