John Albert Rushbrook

John Albert Rushbrook, 78, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021. He was born November 11, 1942 in West Virginia to Elizabeth Yarber and Hobart Rushbrook. He served over 27 years in the military and retired in El Paso, TX after a career that took him all over the world in both the Navy and Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, being outdoors, and doing puzzles of all kinds. He is survived by his children, Michael, Jason, Christopher, Melisse, and Matthew; his siblings, Harry, Kirby, and Charlene; and his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Anita, his brothers Jerry, Richard and Frank, his sister Sharon, and his parents. Visitation will be from 1:00 - 4:00 PM, with Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Homes- Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass. Committal Service will take place at 9:00 AM, on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
