John F. Mastriani passed from this life June 14, 2017. John, 65, was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on October 1, 1951, to Albert A. Mastriani and June Baldwin Mastriani. He is survived by his two sons, Aaron Mastriani of Albuquerque, and Todd Mastriani (Hannah) of El Paso, and two grandchildren, Hailey and Dawson. John grew up in Columbus, Ohio, where he received a B.S. from Franklin University. He worked at Valley National Bank in Phoenix and at Minnesota Title Insurance as Personnel Manager. He also taught part-time for Scottsdale and Phoenix Community Colleges, and was an advisor with Students In Free Enterprise. John received his Master’s degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. He and his family moved to El Paso where he served as Business instructor at El Paso Community College since 1987. John served in his church as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher for many years. John, a man of faith, loved to teach, loved people and most of all, loved his family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 23, in the Chapel at First Baptist Church, 805 Montana, at 2 p.m. Interment is Private. Donations may be made to the Mustard Seed.
