John Henry King

John H. King was called to the Lord on March 17, 2007, at the age of 79. John was preceded in death by his wife Irene Grace King. He is survived by his 5 children and their families, Barbara Limón, Robert and Judy King, Estella and Edmundo Orozco, James and Debbie King, and Alan and Lydia King; 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren. John was retired from the City of El Paso where he worked at the airport as an Aircraft Refueler/ Fireman. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during WWII. He received the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation Medal. Dad we love you. You are not going to be lonely anymore. Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 5-9 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina Drive, with a Vigil at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 10 am Thursday, March 22, 2007 at St. Raphael's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors.
