John Kelly

On Thursday, May 28, 2021, John Kelly, loving husband, and stepfather of two children, passed away at the age of 74. John was born on November 11, 1946, in Edinburgh, Scotland to John and Mary Kelly. He received his engineering degree from University of Strathclyde in 1968. He served as a Royal Merchant Marine for 10 years. He worked with Balfour Beatty for 30 years in Perth, Scotland, and with The Fund (Old Republic) in Orlando Florida for the past 7 years. On August 21, 1999, he married Melinda Rashid. John had a passion for photography and travel. His photographs was admired not only by friends and family but also online. He was known for his quick wit, his kind heart, and compassionate spirit. John was preceded in death by his father, John, and mother Mary. He is survived by his wife, Dr. Melinda Kelly, his stepchildren Tamara (Brian) Gay and Samilr (Sam) Rashid, and granddaughter, Victoria Evanko. He is also survived by his sister Anne (Tony) West, niece Rebecca West and nephew Edward West.
