John H. Hixon, born on June 7, 1932 in LaGrange, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on August 16, 2008 in El Paso, Texas. Survived by his loving wife, Maxine Hunt Hixon. Son: Gregory J. Hixon and wife Dian. Grandchildren: Joshua Hixon, Paris Hixon, and Milan Hixon. Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 pm and Funeral Service at 7:00 pm, on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home-Northeast. Graveside Services at 9:00 am, Friday, August 22, 2008 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Chuck Piper, Dave Wells, Joshua Hixon, Buzz Hunt, Frank Carl, and Erv Stene.
