John Fletcher Haynes,

John Fletcher Haynes, Jr., MD, born in El Paso, Texas on October 29, 1947 and passed away on December 17, 2012. John proudly served our country in the Marine Corps and Army. He served in both Vietnam and Desert Storm. He was a Medical Doctor Specializing in emergency medicine and toxicology at Texas Tech University Medical Center and the West Texas Regional Poison Center. John was a teacher and mentor in the medical field both locally and internationally. John was a Christian and member of the Jesus Chapel West. He is preceded in death by brother, William L. Haynes. Survived by his parents John F. and Alethea Haynes; daughter Deanna Lee Pelzek and husband Bryon Pelzek; son Robert Fletcher Haynes, brother James C. and wife Ruth Haynes; sister Alethea and husband Thomas Sutherland; two grandchildren, aunts, uncles and numerous nephews and nieces. Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Jesus Chapel West, 111 West Sunset Drive. Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at 9:30 am, Friday, December 21, 2012 at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
