John W Everett, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 16, 2013. He was born on December 14, 1942 in Atlantic City New Jersey. He made his home in El Paso, Texas where he served in the Army for 20 years, retiring as an E7. Following his retirement from the military, he worked as a logistics management specialist for the U.S Army and Macaulay-Brown Inc. until his passing.
He is preceded in death by his father, John Walter Everett, his mother, Elizabeth Virginia Everett and his brother, Lawrence Michael Everett.
He is survived by his wife Alicia Fulton, his son, Ramon Everett, his 3 brothers William Preston Everett, Charles Everett, and Ronald Samuel Everett. His 7 sisters, Deborah Anne Mobley, Florence Elizabeth Bowers, Grace Everett, Carolyn Virginia Dorsey, Irene Phillis Everett, Marsha Jean Linton, and Charlotte Ruth Murray. His “babies” Chicle and Tootsie (dogs), many nieces and nephews, and countless other extended family members, friends and co-workers. He touched many lives and will be truly missed.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 5pm to 9pm at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass, and El Paso, Texas 79904. Funeral Service will begin at 9:15am, on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
