John Allan Duffus

John Allan Duffus Sr August 4, 1930 - July 27, 2010 John loved playing golf with his friends. He servered in the US Navy in the 1950‘s with a close friend who both played on the Navy Tennis Team. John was born in Paris, Texas on August 4, 1930. He worked in the apparrel indusry here in El Paso for 25 years. During this time, John traveled on business to Costa Rica, Mexico, South Africa, and Japan. After retiring from the apparrel business, he became a successful businessman opening and running 2 UPS stores in the El Paso and Las Cruces area. His customers and staff loved his friendly, customer service spirit. The family would like to thank La Mariposa Hospital, Tony, and their “Angel” care giver nurse Laura. John is survived by his loving wife Mary, together for 53 years, along with their 3 children Stephen, Jackie, and John, grand children Gretchen and Sydney, and dog Katie. In lieu of flowers, the family prefers you make contributions to Hospice or your community healthcare. A Memorial Service will be held at Saint Clements Chapel on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 10:00am.
