Joaquin Ortega

Joaquin Ortega born August 16, 1923 at Rocky Ft. Colorado and resided at the age of 22 in El Paso, TX. He retired from the City of El Paso Environmental Service. He is survived by his loving wife 60 years, Teresa Ortega, two sons, Ricardo/wife Martha, Jose J./wife Rosa E. & his three daughters Rosa M/husband Benny Pacheco, Irma/husband Ray Rojas and Martha/husband Salvador Oporto. Thirteen grandchildren Claudette Viscarra, Ricky Ortega, Rafael & Erika Ortega, Marisela & Paul Jr. Aguilar, Clara M. Pacheco, Gabriel & Alex Rojas, Ozzie, Dannie, Nellie Jean, & Jeshua Oporto. He was a hard working man and devoted his life to his family. He will be missed dearly. Visitation will be from 3:00-9:00 pm, Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas with Vigil Services at 7:00 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2006 at Mt. Carmel (Old Mission) Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Homes - Americas.
