Jimmy Joe Howard

Jimmy was a beloved son, a wonderful brother, a fantastic friend and a selfless volunteer. He grew up in Walkersmill, Pennsylvania and called El Paso home for the last 21 years. He was the Red Cross El Paso Disaster Services Volunteer of the Year for 2011, an honor earned by his extraordinary commitment to helping others. Jimmy brought a lot of smiles to all his friends and extended family. He loved cooking, fine dining, shopping and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Jimmy is survived by his mother, Mary; brothers, Karl and George; sisters, Freda and Bertha; nephews, Chad and Chase; and niece, Kacie. Memorial Service will be at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast, 4631 Hondo Pass, Friday, July 8 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Red Cross El Paso or another charity.
