Jesus Jose Zavala

Jesus J. Zavala Sr. 12/25/28 - 03/22/16 Our dear father has put his upholstery and woodworking down to go to eternal rest. A proud Marine and Dallas Cowboy fan, he lived a full life on his terms not allowing his illness to get in the way of anything. Our dad retired from ASARCO. He was preceded in death by parents, Julian and Donaciana Zavala, children Gilberto Martin, Sylvia, Elvia, Daniel and siblings, Martin, Nazario, Esteban Zavala. Left to cherish his memory are wife, Emma (63 years of marriage) Linda, Jesus Jr., Rodolfo, Graciela (Ernesto), Norma, David, Roberto, Fernando and his siblings, Adolfo, Anastacio Zavala and Felipa Bonoan. Also 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 on the way. Our family would like to Thank his Doctors: Dr. Mariano Palacios, Dr. Abraham Gonzales, Dr. Manuel Lopez, Dr. Michael Bagg, Dr. Jaime Gomez and their staff for the outstanding care given to our father. Visitation will be from 4:00pm to 9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home-East. Funeral Mass at 9:30am on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church. Committal Service to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors.
