Jesus "Chuy" Salvador Hernandez

Jesus S. Hernandez, 75, entered into eternal rest on July 1, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. Mr. Hernandez served for his country, making him at the time of his passing an Army disabled Vietnam Veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria Elena Garcia and Jose Luz Hernandez. His grandparents; Efren & Paula Garcia and Marcos & Amelia Hernandez. His brother, George Hernandez. Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Rosa I Hernandez; his sons, Abraham Hernandez and Sonny Joe Hernandez; daughters, Laura Ann Hernandez and Ruby Hernandez (Robert Thick - son-in-law); sister, Flor Mendoza (Jose Mendoza - Brother-in-law).  Also leaving behind 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchild who will honor and cherish his memory. Jesus was very loved and will be dearly missed.

A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home - Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr., El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will begin at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023 at La Purisima Catholic Church, 328 S. Nevarez Rd., Socorro, TX 79927.
