Jesus "Chuy" Muñoz,

Jesus “Chuy” Muñoz, Sr., 85, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012. Jesus was born in Smeltertown, Texas on October 15, 1926. After his service in the US Army during World War II, he continued working for the Army as a Civil Service Mechanic (shops 3 and 5) for 37 years at Fort Bliss, Texas. Jesus is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Josefina Muñoz; his eight children: Adriel Muñoz, Pat Miller, Jesse “Chuy” Muñoz, Jr., Eddie (Mari) Muñoz, Ceci (Darrel) Cardwell, Rudy (Deydre) Muñoz, Adrian Muñoz , and Aracely “Arcy” (Jason) White; his sister: Guadalupe Landin; his fifteen grandchildren: Melissa, Andrea, Jessica, Rebecca, Liszeth, Luis Eduardo, Veronica, Jesse III, Christopher, Veronica, Daniel, Samantha R., Samantha C., Alyssa, and Julyann; and his three great– grandchildren: Makayla, Annabelle and Bobby. His loving memory will be held deep in the hearts of his family. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00pm with a Vigil/Rosary to begin at 7:00pm Friday March 9, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am Saturday March 10, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen East Cemetery.
