Jesus Eduardo Loya

Jesus Eduardo Loya, age 41 and a resident of El Paso for 35 years, passed away in Amarillo June 28, 2012. Eddie was born in Chihuahua City October 21, 1970 to Jesus and Rosamaria Loya. He was an Eagle Scout and graduated from Eastwood High School in 1989 he then proceeded to UTEP, where he graduated in 1995 as a Mechanical Engineer. He was a council member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, a fourth degree Knights of Columbus and a member of Alhambra. Currently Jesus Eduardo was employed with ASARCO. Eddie is survived by his wife Maria de Jesus Loya; his children Leonardo Enrique and Andrea Marisol Loya; his parents Jesus Ramon and Rosamaria Loya; brother Luis Enrique Loya. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 9 pm, Friday, July 6, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home-West (480 N. Resler), with a vigil beginning at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am, Saturday, July 7, 2012 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church (400 W. Sunset Rd). Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-West.
