Jesus V. Herrera

Jesus V. Herrera, 80, entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 5, 2009. Mr. Herrera was a lifelong resident of El Paso and a member of the Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who will always be remembered by his leadership and love for his family. Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 57 years; Marie L. Herrera, sons; Jesus H. Herrera and David M. Herrera, daughter; Laura Herrera, brother; Patricio Cano, sisters; Lucia Cano and Ramona Cano, 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:30-8:30 pm on Monday, June 8, 2009 with a Vigil at 6:30 pm at Sunset Funeral Home-East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church, 210 N. Clark. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-East.
