Jesus Diaz, 86, passed away on Sunday, April 03, 2022

Jesus was born in Zacatecas, Mexico on May 7. 1936. He served in the Mexican Military at the age of eighteen. He later, migrated into the United States in his early 30s with wife and kids.

Jesus worked over 35 years mainly in the boot manufacturing industry and later retired. He loved playing music and enjoyed dancing with his family.

Jesus is preceded in death by his mother; Matiana Diaz. He leaves behind his wife of sixty-five-years Mercedes Diaz, sons; Jesus Diaz Jr., Abraham Diaz, and Daughters; Maria Duenas, Elizabeth Orozco, Dora Diaz and Patricia Diaz.

Visitations will be held from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 7, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home- East, 750 N. Carolina. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday April 8, 2022 at Saint Paul Catholic Church, 7424 Mimosa Ave. Interment will follow at 11:30 AM at Mount Carmel Cemetery 401 S. Zaragoza.
