Jesus M. Curiel

Jesus M. Curiel, went home to our Lord on March 21, 2017 at the age of 91. Born in El Paso on January 1, 1926 he is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Dolores Curiel, and his son Louis Curiel. A World War II veteran he served proudly as a medic in the US Army during the occupation of Germany. His service to the US Army continued as a civilian providing over forty years of dedicated service. He is survived by his oldest son Carlos Curiel, daughters Norma Curiel and Susana Jaquez, daughter-in-law Margarita Curiel, son-in-law Jose Jaquez, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. A great father and grandfather, you will be sorely missed. We love you always Dad. A Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home-Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr. with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass is pending at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 North Loop Dr., Monday, March 27, 2017. A Committal Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with Military Honors. Services entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home-Americas.
